DODEKAPUS ART COLLECTIVE:

 

A “Dodekapus,” pronounced “Doe Deck-a Pus,” describes a twelve-tentacle octopus. Each tentacle represents a different form of art, symbolic of all art mediums having the ability to share one collective brain. Dodekapus is a diverse collective of Atlanta based artists focused on cross media collaboration to provide resources and support for local artists and their neighborhoods. I found myself to be a cofounder of the group in January of 2010. For three years I worked with an outstanding group of people to organize events and service projects to help the community through art.
